Tabs and sharing
Keep work in progress in private tabs, and publish an analysis to share it read-only with the workspace.
Tabs
The Agent and SQL pages keep your work in named tabs. Tabs are saved on the server, so they're still there after a reload, in a new browser, or the next day. A tab keeps its question or query, its result and its chart.
Private and published tabs
A tab is private until you publish it. Only you can see it.
Share to workspace publishes the tab read-only to everyone who can open the workspace. They see your query, result and chart. To build on it, they choose Duplicate this tab and get their own copy to change. Stop sharing with workspace makes it private again.
If someone re-runs your published analysis, they get a fresh answer without overwriting the one you published.
Tab names
Tab names have to be unique, but only where they're visible:
| Unique within | |
|---|---|
| Private tabs | Your own tabs in this workspace and section |
| Published tabs | The whole workspace, per section |
So you can't learn a colleague's private tab names by being told "that name is taken". If a name clashes when you publish, rename the tab and publish again.
Tabs or models?
A published tab shares one analysis: a question, its answer and its chart. A model shares a definition that other queries, other people and AI agents build on. If you want someone to reuse the logic rather than look at the result, save it as a model.
